So, after a long day on the American Sunday, I woke Monday with some serious cramps in the abdomen. Come and go and seem to be moving down as the days progress.  Too early for urgent care, and it's finally getting a bit better today.

I'm thinking it's kidney stone working it's way through.

Anyone got intel for me?  Anything I can do (I'm drininking lots of water, never a bad thing....)

near to 20 years ago in N.Y state , this very old Woman lived next door to me and swore by drinking black radish juice--when I asked her why she told me it cures - removes kidney stones???
always stuck with me-why I dont know?
may be that is is useful to me some day -or just pass on the info

Suck it up and endure the pain - or  - http://www.webmd.com/kidney-stones/extracorporeal-shock-wave-lithotripsy-eswl-for-kidney-stones

They say you may have to make dietary changes to eliminate future stones. You could try eliminating fish from your diet  :smt002  :smt003

Best of luck brother.

Sorry to hear that Allen.  Good luck!  The good news, if it is a kidney stone, it sounds like it's moving down the pipe.  The only thing you can do is take pain medication and LOTS of water.  Once the stone passes into the bladder, the rest is easy.  You might want to keep and eye out for the stone and capture it so the doctor can have it tested to see what kind of stone it is so he can make a recommedation on what to avoid when eating.

I feel your pain!  I dealt with mine last year and ended up having lithotrispy to break it up before it would pass.

Go to a Urologist and get yourself checked.  I had laser surgery last year to get them taken out.  I started with medication with the hope the stones would pass.  After a month of meds, it did not pass and one actually moved up and inside my kidney.

I had to undergo laser surgery.

+1

As much as I HATE going to the Dr. because, guess what, they find things wrong that you didn't know was wrong .... in the end, it's all for the good.  Go get them checked out at the very least.  Best case, they tell you they'll pass & at least there is some piece of mind to an otherwise uncomfortable situation.

"He was undergoing a colonoscopy, but the medical staff was the real pain in the butt."

Take a few shots of turbolax with tons of water, then fast, day before.  Imaging will be better

So does this mean you dont wanna fish this Friday AM

Go see doctor is mandatory. Before doc give you any resolution, watch out one thing!
CALCIUM! If you take any of food supplements contain calcium, stop!
No Calcium pills.
No vitamin contain calcium.
No calcium enriched juices and milk.
Regular milk and juice are ok.
Again this is personal opinion after 3 stones. It is by no mean of professional advice.
Wish you pass the stone soon and easy without any medical procedure. Happy fishing after the stone birth.  :smt005

Another thing, my stones didn't show on a regular x-ray, only a CT scan.

Uric acid stones will not appear on x-ray; calcium stones will.
