I've got a leak at a fitting in an ABS drain pipe. In the first picture, it's the pipe on top (you can see where it's dripping onto the bottom one) and the 2nd picture is a view of the leak from below.

Since one end goes into the wall, I'd like to just deal with the exposed end, if possible. This video makes it look easy to undo the joint with just a hack saw and screw driver (starting at about the 5:15 mark):



I'm wondering if this is the best way to go about it in this case. Thanks.

In the unlikely event that anybody ever needs/wants to do this, it's a piece of cake. Just follow the video, take your time, and don't twist the screwdriver blade (as that might crack the ABS).

Glad ot worked out.  Inaccessable or hidden plumbing can be an expensive problem
