or the same yak, same color with various paddlers to see what kind of human they is attracted to.

eh, an 8 footer is a fish eatin shark.
12footers, I dunno if I would want to be around that.

So maybe not a totally insane thing to do (paddling with them), but then again it is kinda Timothy Treadwell-ish.
