Who makes these swimbaits?

I got them from the Castro valley sportsmanship shop and the lady won't tell me the brand name or who makes them.  I catch a ton of fish on this pattern and always get asked who makes the "Rasta" pattern...

Anyone know?  If not the same exact ones, one that are close?

Those look like Big Hammers. Look on the tail it should be embossed with the BH logo. If not then they may be fakes which would make sense if the seller wouldn't divulge the manufacturer.

That's them!!!  Wow, she said it was a guy who made them out of manteca.  But I guess I should have assumed she was lieing.  I once overheard her tell a customer who asked for Big Hammer swimbait, that big hammer went out of business...  Lol.

I stopped doing business at CV Sportsman. I bought an Avet awhile back and she charged me full price to spool it with 65# power pro!! I stick to discount bait in El Ceritto. $15 to spool up on 65# power pro with an avet purchase. Plus I get a discount 

I love those baits. I use them all the time. I get me at OPS.

For Fish Traps, that color is called dorado. Branson has a similar color too, called Pollo Loco. That's one of my favorite color combos for lings.

In Humboldt we call it the rasta color.  They hold up better than Big Hammer and tend toattract bigger lings.  The red Halloween ones work the best

I can normally get 7-8 good Lings out of them as long as the cabbies arnt short striking them.

Looks like John Deere Green and yellow to me with a little International Harvester red on it.

same here. It was when she wanted to charge me $20 + labor to change the tip on an old boat rod that I figured I'd had enough.  Walton's Pond (RIP) had a better guide, installed for free, that he charged me about $3 for.

Well, that and when she wanted to charge me $15 each to spool four reels with 30lb mono. Nothing big either, only about 175 to 200 yard capacity at most.  She told me I could get a nicer, more expensive line if I liked.   .  Ended up spooling all 4 reels with two 440 yard spools of Big Game for about $15 total.   pfft.

I believe fishermans warehouse carries something really similar to that.

Looking at the website, fisherman's warehouse in Campbell is the only authorized distributor around. So it looks like she's just resaleing at 2x cost.
