Good Karma, hope it comes back to you.

Two incidents, I left my wallet in a beach shitter once on the way to a dive spot, never heard rom that baby again, huge PITA, replacing everything.

Then one day years ago in the town of Sonoma I found a checkbook on the shitter floor, went out and tried to find the owner but was unsuccessful. The checks had an address and phone number, when I got home I called the number, THE GUY ACCUSED ME  OF STEALING IT and was still yelling at me when I hung up.  I mailed it to him anyway.

He is lucky it was found by someone with integrity and solid morals....well done. ..that being said you let him off too easy. Should have made him sweat a little hahaha....

Good for you Mike! I would have run up to the store and got you whatever you like if that was my wallet.  Last year Sara lost her phone at a restaurant or some other place (cant recall) and then her mom started calling me to tell us that someone called her and said they had her phone, a younger Hispanic gentleman.  We contacted him and drove out to East SJ and picked it up on our way to the Simply Fishing tourney.  I tried to give him money but he refused saying it was his pleasure to return it to its rightful owner, and that it had happened to him once before.  He paid it forward

Hearing Tote yelling we all turned and looked at each other with a puzzled WTF look on our faces......then I said "He just read on the shitter wall......for a good time call Richard McCready"

Good on you Tote and others. I walked by an ATM machine outside Wells Fargo Bank the other day and there was three hundred in twenties sticking out of the machine with no one around. I plucked the cash out and took it inside and gave it to the teller...she was thankful. She then told me that's a pretty popular occurrence. She also told me that many times others just grab the money and then later the person who left it comes in and demands their cash...what's the bank supposed to do she said?

Was the COORs' at least cold?

I'm not sure Tote would have tested a Coors . . . Damn fine stand-up work, Mike!
