I'm about to paint the interior walls of my house and need some advice on paint. It's a rental so I don't want to spend a lot. The walls are currently white with a lot of marks and stains, and we're going with some shade of white for the new coat.

Any recommendations on a good, inexpensive paint that only requires one coat?
Thanks,
Andrew

I've had good luck with Glidden @ H.D.

I just painted an almond white over bright pink room using one coat Glidden gripper/primer and 1 coat of Valspar Paint+Primer.  We just switched over to Valspar from the Bennie Moore paints.  No complaints so far.  Not sure i needed the Paint+Primer but it was on sale. No kids in the house anymore so this paint color should last longer than 6 months!  Lol

Thanks for the tips. I'll look at the Glidden.
