4th of July

What is everyone  doing for the 4th of July ?????
We have always thrown a huge party, but Christine
Wants to camp this year, where ever it is cool, she wants
Out of the Redding heat. Any ideas? ????

Last ten years have spent it in Cabo

Standing around my house with 50 charged garden hoses.

Jk. I will be nearing the completion of my over 200 mile hike to the summit of mount Whitney. Sitting in a hotel down south right now getting ready to start tomorrow.

Go to Shelter Cove if ya wanna have a great time camping and seeing fireworks, with fishing!

Fort Bragg has a nice show on the 4th.

Point Arena has a cool show on the 3rd which you can be closer to.

I was going to suggest the McCloud area but the long forecast has day time highs around 100 for the entire time we plan on camping.  We might have to look for a spot closer to the coast this year. 

I just made reservations at Shelter Cove, just saying, it won't be 100 there.

Shelter Cove sounds awesome.  Last few years we've just spent the 4th at home with family, but I smell a new tradition brewing!
