that you wouldn't have if it wasn't for NCKA???

I would not have fished at Elk, Half Moon Bay, Lake Mendocino or San Pablo Bay had I not been involved with NCKA. These were all new places to me and someone from NCKA introduced them to me.
I also got my 1st Tahoe mac thanks to an NCKA member.
I am sure there are more new adventures ahead. Always more fun to go somewhere new with someone who knows the area.

For me, that would be San Quentin for stripers with Chuck et al.  I haven't wanted to go near the joint since I got out.

No seriously, I would never have found San Q if not for chuck's invite all those years ago.  When the World Series Striper bite is going off, you can't beat that place.  Just too much fun, and free parking if you get there early enough.

shoot, where do I begin  :smt003 I was mainly fishing the foothill lakes - but before NCKA, my buddy Russ introduced me to the green can in HMB and Linda Mar as well. Then I attended my first kayak fishing derby with kayak connection - met BrainG, Allen / scallen, Erik K, Sean / Piscean - go to fish Santa Cruz. Hooked up with Josh / P-spark and fished grey hound rock. Then met Stuart, Fred and Kevin and got to fish Moss Landing, Davenport. . Met Sean/Scwafish for Mendo Stripers with jdyak and sturgy, Hooked up with Mike/Mickfish for Russian River SMB with jdyak. Got to learn about Sturgeon fishing with EK at San Pablo Bay. Stripers in the Bay with the guidance of SteveS. Got an invitation from Brad Zilla for Tahoe trout and Macks with Tote, jdyak and sturgy, Got to fish StillWater (South) with Pat and Randy. And Stillwater North with (again) Stu,Fred,Kevin and Chuck. Scallen introduced me to Monterey - right behind MBK. Got a guided trip with Chef at Big Sur and Monterey. Hit the Forebay for the first time with Rickey Mitchell,Jdyak,Chef and Big Red. Fished Elk because of Scwafish. Fort Ross with EK,Pescadero with lee and Ethan, Bean Hollow with Scallen. With Vince at Bolinas Went with Chuck at Muir Beach......that's all I can think of for now....

A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO the NCKA'ers mentioned....and Bill, you da man  :smt008

After less than one year I have the following new fishing spots thanks to NCKA: MBK, Capitola, Coral St. Otter Cove, CRSB,Stillwater both north and south, the Golden Gate, Linda Mar Beach and many more to come.  Thanks to all at NCKA, I am beginning to feel like I know a little bit about this sport.

Spots I probably never would've fished if not for NCKA:
The Honey Hole out of Buck's Landing
Bullhead Flats
Elk
HMB
Oyster Point
And probably Lake Mendo.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

"hole in the fence" is right down the road from the "Flemish Cap"    :smt003

Actually, it's on the Sonoma Coast somewhere between Fort Ross and Salt Point.    :smt002
