I love pesto! So last night, I was thinking about how to cook some chukar that I thawed out, and it hit me. This recipe is SO easy, and it is a great recipe to have the kids jump in and help with. This will go well with any game bird, even waterfowl I am thinking. I am going to even try this with some ling fillets soon. I love pesto.

Were those wild chukar or put and take club birds?
Smoked carp tastes just as good as smoked salmon when you ain't got no smoked salmon.

Wild chukars in CA? I wish, these are from Quail Point.

LOL....there's lots of wild chukar in California. I hunt them every weekend from November til January. I killed a limit on the last day of the season this year. How is Quail point? I have always wondered, as its closer to me than Hastings Island.

That URL didn't work for me.

Mind sharing the recipe?
