California Sport Fishing Regulation Supplement Now Available Online

CDFW's annual California Sport Fishing Regulations Supplement is now available online at https://nrm.dfg.ca.gov/FileHandler.ashx?DocumentID=100968&inline. This year, the supplement includes 2015 ocean salmon fishing regulations, updated groundfish (rockfish, lingcod, and other species) fishing regulations, updated  Pacific halibut fishing regulations, and information about upcoming changes this summer to bluefin tuna fishing regulations (for the latest information regarding bluefin tuna fishing regulation changes, see the CDFW Tunas web page at http://www.dfg.ca.gov/marine/cpshms/tunas.asp).

Paper copies of the supplement are expected to arrive at license sales locations and CDFW offices by mid-June. Fishermen can use CDFW's license sales agent search engine at https://www.ca.wildlifelicense.com/internetsales/OutletSearch/FindOutlet to find nearby agents.

California Sport Fishing Regulation Supplements are printed after the Pacific Fishery Management Council and California Fish and Game Commission establish salmon seasons each year. Supplements also contain any in-season sport fishing regulation changes and/or corrections to any errors that were printed in the annual Ocean Sport Fishing regulations booklets.

The supplement also includes freshwater salmon regulations for the anadromous waters of the Klamath River Basin and other, related sport fishing information.
