Finally joined after trolling lol

Hello all!

Two days ago I was about to launch my new Outback from the Coast Guard pier in Monterey when I met Alex "Alien". After a brief conversation,  he asked me if I had heard of this forum. I told him I had been reading posts here for a long time, but never joined. I told him I'd join, so here I am lol.

Looking forward to meeting fellow 'yak fisherman and can do some fishing around the Monterey Bay.

Well I'm seeing that my meeting Alien was quite the coincidence!  The fishing gods we're smiling on me that day, apparently. 

If any of you guys in Monterey/Carmel/Pacific Grove/Marina or wherever want to meet up and go out for some Halibut or anything else, let me know!

I got a little concern just a little after you launched. I was up on a Hill looking for you through my binoculars when the wind picked up and didn't see you out there! But i knew you probably seen the up coming wind so you probably got the heck out of there! So, did you get any fish? Anyways it was really nice to meet you and hope to share some water with you some day! Welcome to the Madness...
