Motor alone is probably worth over $6,000. I'm not that surprised by the asking price.

RIB's are inexpensive IF you keep them setup as a tiller steer (same goes for the motor).  The fact that it is a center console RIB + a 90hp Mercury is a big factor in the price.  You can get into a reasonable RIB + (smaller) Mercury tiller steer O/B with trailer for ~ 1/3 the cost.

He is most likely priced correct with that boat!  Best of luck with the sale!  They can be a tough sell unless you find just the right buyer; generally a diver.
