Hey albycor,
Tides. Has high tide or low tide produced more fish for you?
I've been itching to get out there to Marina or any other beach to try my luck.
Might head up there on Sunday. My son's baseball games have taken up a lot of my time, so time is hard to come by. lol. Also have been contemplating heading out after work for some afternoon/ night fishing but I don't know what parking is like at night for any beach.
You've been killing it out there oh mighty striper slayer :smt044 :smt006

The only thing I try to avoid is low tide.  Only a few spots have good areas that can be fished on peak lows.  I keep a log book.  Seems that for me, moving water has been the best.  2 hours before and after high tide has been pretty good.   Best bites for me have been before sunrise.  I try and hit the beach at least 45 minutes before sunrise and an hour before sunset.  Most of the time I can't make it out early or late, but have managed to still find a couple of em that wanted to play.

Only 2 beaches in our area are closed to parking, Marina main beach and soldiers club.  Believe they open at 0800 and close at sunset.  You can park outside of the gates if u want to get there early or stay late.  There are plenty of other areas to park in Marina like the end of lake court and the end of dunes road.

Hope it helps.

Yes it does!
Thanks for taking the time to respond. Great info.
If I manage to get out there this weekend I'll be sure to post.
Tight lines,
