If  they breed those will be some state record class bass

Looks like that mama's breeding days are done...
I don't think they are able to successfully reproduce in SLR, but I could be wrong

It's kind of a unique situation.
Striped bass are unable to reproduce in San Luis Res.
Fry & possibly fingerlings are pumped in from the aquaduct via SF Bay.
So this is one of the rare examples where removing a big mama isn't going to affect the overall population in a negative way. It w/b different if fish weren't being pumped into the Res...like Lake Mendo or San Antonio (where they're unable to reproduce AND no more fish will ever be introduced/planted; those mamas should be released). 
I know way too much about stupid fish.
