Just got my Visa $50 rebate from Lowrance in the mail yesterday.
Took almost 2 months though.

Curious ... did the rebate come from Lowrance or an outside source/company?  I, myself, am not sure how they handle this so asking out of curiosity.

That's a great deal. Been looking at the 5 for a while. Actually procrastinating way to long with so many fishfinders to choose from. Looking at models with fishfinder/gps unit. Blew it when they had it on sale and didn't have to deal with a rebate. So the rebate that is offered is only for in store purchase ?  I know Bill, I know. 

The Elite 5 Chirp w/83 transducer is $467.90 on Amazon right now. Best price I've seen anywhere for that model. Does the $100 Aug. 2nd rebate work if its purchased on Amazon ? Pretty tempted to pull the trigger if it does. Need to decide quickly thpugh.
