New to Kayak fishing, actually still in the market to get a kayak. I grew up in Colorado and joined the Coast Guard in 2000. Have been all over the world, stationed in Alaska, Florida, California and did a tour overseas. I have fished and hunted in all of the above. I really want to start hitting the trout and catfish here in Norcal as well as find a nice Kayak to wonder around.

Welcome! Take your time picking out a kayak. Test paddle as much as you can to make sure you end up with one you really like! There are lots of good fishing spots around here and lots of good info on this site!
