Oregon Rockfish Classic 2015 - 7/11/15

Anyone else from NKCA heading up this year? Last year was a blast but a little rougher than I wanted it to be. Great crew up there.

No firm plans made yet but I hope to make it again this year.

Yeah I will be there, but I can't understand how you say it was rough cause it was calm for my crew.  The year before was much rougher.

Coming out of the chute with all of the reflection waves didn't work so well for me and I was green just getting out. The two days after when we hit pacific city were super calm.

Get through the hole faster. Last year was as good as it gets. Year before was breakers in your lap like 6@7 or so.

1 day wasn't bad, about $15. Check the odfw site. You will also need an invasive species permit for $7 and they inspect your boat when you enter the state. There is also a coast guard aux. safety inspection and the sheriff will be present at the launch doing their own inspection

Darn! I was hoping to make it this year.  Tourney date too close to my departure date out of San Diego for a dive trip (San Benitos) I am on to join you all.  If the trip cancels, I will be there!
