So I have been surfing the internet looking for a Kayak cart design that meets the needs of my brand new outback and came across this gem..

I'm a huge fan of craftsmanship and would buy one of these in a heart beat.

This boat was designed around the mirage drive and is 20ft long. After showing the boss "My gf" this picture she gladly gave me the green light to purchase "jokingly"

anyways figured id share, happy Friday all!

PS for any Hobie Outback owners out there, if you have a kayak cart you absolutely love please PM me, im not a big fan of having the kayak cart out and would rather stow it away but I also want a good cart that works well and doesn't require a whole lot of effort for me to pull it like my current cheapo one from amazon.

The larger sailing rudder might have been more suited.  For those not familiar with the level of woodworking this thing has, this is TRULY a labor of love with HUNDREDS & HUNDREDS of hours labor invested and I'm sure FAR more money than just buying a Tandem Hobie.

Definitely nice. Very comfortable layout for inland water. I can see a lunch accompanied by  good brews and a significant other cruising a tree lined waterway in Europe somewhere.

Paging Charles !!!

Speaking of which. Everything done including a spray skirt. My days I chose for yak/fish so far have been crappy weather days and I want some decent water for my first ocean test trip. Boat design looks good and should work great but by now most of us have experienced an ugly fact killing a beautiful theory when it comes to a diy project.

That's a cool boat!

About the kayak cart... The one you want is the standard sized Wheeleez beach cart.

Period...
