 :smt044 I cant believe I missed this thread :(

I decided to take a friend of mine, who had never fished before let alone from a kayak, out from MBK. As we sat on the water we noticed dozens of kayaks everywhere. After talking to a few guys I realized what was up. It such a great event for such good causes, shame on me for missing in on the fun. I thought about joining everyone by the red can but they guy I was with was a bit unsure and preferred to stay where we were, plus we had to be packed and heading back by noon. But based on the huge crowd I am guessing it was a huge success. Count me in on the next one. Glad to meet some of you out there. :)

Great event for a great cause with great people;  as good as it gets. After the event,  took the free Trolley to Cannery Row with Tiny & Clara. A big thank you to the A-Hulls for all their time and effort putting this on.

Your friend with the field and stream?  I must have cut out before you guys.  I think he still has my pole gaff. I'll have to meet up with one of you guys next weekend  :). I have a fishing net for him for free if he needs it.

We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.

I want to stay as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all kinds of things you can't see from the center.

People aren’t supposed to look back. I’m certainly not going to do it anymore.”
