Your title is a bit misleading...After reading the article it should read Warden kills armed man after he pointed weapon at him and failed to comply with lawful orders.

Never really stop to think of all the other consequences produced by an illegal grow. Chemicals and other poisons used by the growers that is leaked into the ground water.

Sad news, EG is my home town. I always wondered if anyone grew out in all of the wetlands that surround the city. Bad idea, no cover from helicopters and lots of public foot traffic from bird watchers, fisherman etc...glad to hear law enforcement is working hard to preserve public spaces for responsible citizens as well as the water that shouldn't be feeding illegal dope farms. Get a 215 and rent some land! It's cali baby, stay legal...
