first of all does not work well in rocky areas sandy areas works great for me. can fill a sandbag up at the water's edge instead of packing ten pound anchor across a sandy beach. when you're done fishing can empty sandbag in the water. is much lighter then pedaling or paddling back to beach and you don't have to pack it back to the truck when you're done.

Great idea! :smt002 And easy to carry with you and whip out when you need it.  There are many days I had wished I thought to bring one (or a second one).

I use an onion bag and put a rock in it.  I can make it drag just a bit if I want a slow drift.  In rocks it chafes through after a bit and I have to go get another rock....Onion bags pretty good for carrying dungies too...


 

anything
