Do you ever dive beneath the Harold Richey bicycle bridge, near the William B. Pond rec area? Back when I was in high school around 2002, I watched a guy dive and recover many dozens of jigs from under there, mainly Gibb's minnows. He would arrange the lures neatly on a long piece of wood by embedding the hooks into the top corner edge, and sorted by size, type and color. He would then walk past the line of salmon snaggers fishing from the bridge, and offer to sell them back their lost gear at a fair price. Being a poor, fishing addicted teenager, I was quite impressed by his efforts.

I don't dive there, but I have a spot that I like to dive after salmon season. I haven't had to purchase anything other than split rings and hooks for the last few salmon seasons.

I have decided to pour 400, so there will be plenty extra for anyone who may have missed this thread.  200 reds poured and painted today.  I went full safety mode ( respirator,  face shield,  no exposed skin or hair).

I'll have a couple hundred of 4 oz reds in different shades with eyes, 9/0 hooks, and they have been baked for an hour too.  I also have other colors with eyes in 3oz & 4oz with 8/0 hooks and 9/0 hooks.  I use the mustad duratin hooks cause they don't rust as easy and are stronger.  I can also pour 8, 10 and 12oz mooching weights if anyone wants those.

Leadheads are available for pickup/payment in RV site #7 on Friday after the safety meeting.
