Hi guys, trying to find foam for installing a transducer would like it so that I can take out transducer after use. Anyone know where to buy foam blocks that will work in the bay area?
Thanks
Ken J.

Try Walmart or Dollar Store. I've seen solid foam noodles as wide as 6 in. at Sports Basement. If you can't find any, I have 2.5 in. pool noodle.

Found plenty at work from desktop computer boxes.

I use some of them as foam fillers for my kayak.

I use a suction cup mount currently, works fine for the eddyline but might not for  the hobie? So pool noodles work, great!

Thanks John. do you have to refill the bath when fishing or just once is good enough, no absorption?

Mine holds water all day and a lot more if I don't turn the kayak upside down for transport.
