any interest in these anymore. we're very popular in the late sixties and seventies by competition divers. dad was a competition diver belonging to cen cal when we lived in San Jose and Santa Cruz. last time dad did a run of them was in the eighties. produced ten of them at request from his competition dive buddies. 5 or 6 were sold to them. still have 4 of them in Fort Bragg.

I live in Santa Rosa in the diving boards are in Fo.rt Bragg on rental property. are you familiar with what they look like very similar to the Royak . could probably take a picture of a picture. have some of his old brochures but not color pictures. send me a PM with a mailing address and I could put one in an envelope with a post stamp and mail it to you if you'd like.

How light are we talking? I definitely get tired of lugging my kayak, but it's way more efficient for covering ground than just kicking out on the banks board. Something to bridge the gap might be nice - especially for tricky launches.

Cheers,
Brad

I'm familiar with the Royak and the Malotte Scouts.

I've been wanting to get my hands on one to use and to own a piece of history...

Are they in good shape?

I'm assuming your pop isn't the same Ken Jones who authored Pier Fishing in California?

Sorry about your father's passing.

The Ken Jones I am referring to is alive and well. He is the author of Pier Fishing in California and runs PFIC.com.

as topic stated any interest in these anymore. not really looking to sell but maybe a giveaway. can't part with dads or mine too much good mojo to part with. pictures of 30 to 35 pound lingcod might get you one. dad would have wanted them left to a responsible fanatical die hard skin diver.

I am very interested and would do my best to put it to good use....

No pics of Lings that big, but did shoot a 31 pound butt last year...and have taken a few decent Lings and other fish over the past few years...

If you are willing to part with one I would make sure to use it and try and post pics of it getting covered in love, salt and blood.
