I was gifted a rod holder but it is a bolt down type. Does anyone know of a good conversion kit. I have a OK Trident 13 and the mod pod has all those mounting holes. Also gifted a water proof gps.case on a mount. Looks like is is meant to go on a ball. Please help. Or buy this stuff from me and I will find what I need.

Do you mean the rod holder connects to a RAM mount like this that you bolt down?

Looks similar, I am just wondering if there is a post I can bolt it too that fits in to one of the many holes in the mod pod.

You can buy a RAM wedge adapter.

Ok so I do not want to screw the mount on to the mod pod. I would tather mount it to whatever is meant to go in the larger holes.

I believe the mod pod molded in receptacles are designed to fit Cannon bases, but Scotty's fit as well. Just a bit of slop. I have not seen a Scotty or Cannon base to Ram mount conversion piece. I am sure one of our Ocean Kayak team members can provide more insight.

The junky Atwood rod holders also have that star type base.
