Rockfish Sonoma Coast

What are the Sonoma Coasters thinking about the weather this Sat/Sun. I'm talking Fort Ross, TC, Ocean Cove. I'm on the fence about it... Kinda phishing for an excuse to downplay the potential wind.

I had hoped to get out tomorrow for the opener but the wind forbids it. I will wait and see if the wind diminishes in a few days. The day after a big long blow, even if the winds are on the calm side, is seldom the best for fishing. Too much ocean stir and the bite is usually poor.

Got some friends going to Ocean Cove  Fri-sun, but I am on the fence like you.
But I'm thinking Paradise for  halibut or stripers.
Incoming tide sat am looks pretty good.

Looks like Beaufort Force 2, maybe a bit of 3, from Thursday thru the weekend.  Beaufort Force 1 on Friday, but I have work.  I had a couple friends going to Ocean Cove Fri-Sun, could be mutual. 

OK, had to look up Beaufort scale. Very interesting, I had not seen this before.

Don't downplay the wind.  The North Coast has already taken a deadly toll this week!

Would you be telling me this if the North Coast hadn't taken a deadly toll this week? Every set  of wind and wave conditions are unique, every location is unique, and every set of circumstances is unique.  To put your mind at ease; I will evaluate the situation against my percieved abilities (based on my experience fishing this area in comparable conditions), and to the abilities of those I choose to fish with.

By posting this question I am primarily looking for a second opinion on the forecast.  secondarily, i am looking for, and evaluating, the confidence levels of fishermen(women) who I will potentially be fishing In close proximity with. should I choose to fish off the coast this weekend.

 i don't know what wind you guys are talking about. The forecast i read is saying little to no wind on saturday and 8 knots on sunday.

A few of my co-workers including myself are heading to Fort Ross Sunday.
