This got me to check my tires and warranty.  I got mine at America's Tire Store.  No mileage limit on the warranty.  Good until the tread reaches 2/32nds inches.  Prorated from the original 19/32nds.

Maybe that will be covered at least part way.

Consider yourself lucky. It could have gone way worse.

Yup! the blown inner tire could have blown out the out one; or the outer one could have blown because it was overloaded carrying the weight of the other....

RVs are like boats.  They cost a lot and you typically can sell them for anything close to what you paid for them.  Glad there was no major damage or accident because of it.

The tires on my 5th wheel are Towmax which have had a lot of issues in the past. still hard to replace tires that should still be good but we are considering before they fail.

Buy Maxxis. About the best trailer tires you can buy. They make a load range E in 15" that I use on my car trailer. Not Chinese made like almost every trailer tire there is. Still overseas though, but are a better quality for heavy loads.

I notice some cracks on my toybox tires when I last use it, I may need to get new tires before Shelter Cove. my tires are from 2004.

Glad you made it home safely Glen, and that it didn't cost you too much money to have the tire replaced.

Glen,
I think I had the same model tires, and got a recall notice from BFG.  Went back to the shop I got them from (a year later) and got free replacements.  I think it was an upgrade too... Michelin LTX M/S2.
