Rollins report 3/25

got on the water about 3:45 and fished until 7:45. Had an awesome time catching 15+ trout, 8 bass, & 6 crappies. Had a couple double hookups one with two different species. The water temp was 60-62 with transducer in the water.

I've only had that happen once, at Lake Mendo, with a striper and a smallmouth back in the day.

I've heard from people who should know that there's 20+ inch crappie in that lake!

Hey James, great day!
When I went up on Monday to finalize check-in, awards and potluck area, I noticed the lake was alive. There were birds working, fish jumping all over, such a beautiful lake. There were also two guys directly across from the campground fishing the submerged bushes for crappie, after crappie. I'm going to get up there this weekend to pre-fish.

It's going to be a great tourney with some really nice mixed bags! It's going to be interesting to see who pulls it off. Don't miss it, sign up and get your campsite reserved now.
