Hey everyone, thanks for the acceptance. My name is Ed, i live in the east, east bay. Lol.i recently bought my native slayer propel and am looking  to pick up some kayak know how since im only used to freshwater.  I have always been attracted to ocean fishing but haven't yet really approched it from lack of knowledge. I am planning a ocean trip(or at least sf bay trip soon) and would like to know who else is out their to share the same interest. Or help with any guidance Thanks again.  Ed

Welcome!  If you want a quick intro to the salt, I recommend CCK's Kayak Fishing class.  There's one coming up on April 4th:  http://www.calkayak.com/rsv/dspClndr.cfm?varClassID=493

Full disclosure, I'm selfishly promoting that class on the theory that the more people that complete it, the higher the likelihood that they'll offer the next Level class... which I'm anxious to take. LOL

Hey eelkram, thank you for class recommendation! Do you know how does it compare to REI's classes?

Thanks,
