Air travel with dive fins

 I scaled down with the new fins got the Mako freedive hunters and they're still too big for my luggage. anybody got any ideas I'm thinking maybe a backpack and have them hang out a foot and a half

Sport tubes are great if you are taking a ton of stuff.  If they are just plastic fins I would throw them in a camping chair bag and bring them on board as carry on.  I carry my carbons on board and throw them in a fin bag.

Zip tie them together, add some extras to fashion a handle. Or use the zips to attach them to the outside of your carry-on.

I just carry them on. Gets a little annoying attention and questions but way easier than packing. They never seem to care, still take a separate carry on bag.

The Freedive hunters are fixed blade, right? If not, just pull the blades out of the pockets. Easy to do, and the screws aren't necessary.

Just rent?

Thanks for all the ideas. Going to rent or borrow from a conection made. I will prepare a little better next time.
