Lake Hennessey March 14, A Saturday!!!

As of right now, I got about 7 vets coming from sac that are carpooling/caravan.  Leaving the VA grounds by 0630 so we should be there by 0830-ish or right before. Most likely we well stop on the way for breakfast. So we really don't need to much for breakfast with my guys.

Rockfish will be bring a flat or two of water. And I'm going to try to get some more tomorrow.


My wife and kids are coming too. So she can help out with stuff.

I have two vets driving up. 

Jack,  for breakfast, I will bring my coleman stove and makings for oatmeal.

I will bring fruit, raisins for toppings.

I will bring a few cases of soft drinks and ice. John

I can bring my Coleman stove as well.  I'll go pick up a Costco bag of tortilla chips and a jug of salsa.

Should I bring some extra nightcrawlers?  I know last event we ran low.

Been away from NCKA with the baby and all but things are finally settling down. Really enjoy helping out a fellow vet and I'm most def in for this one. Jack, you need help in the kitchen? I could do some pork tacos again or something similar? Some of my guys from my shop and my wife are also interested in helping out if you guys have anything for them.

Looking at the Facebook event page and here, looks like we are starting get a little bigger, which is fine…

 I would say were getting closer to 20 participants with family… plus volunteers, between 30 to 40 people at this time…

Don, I want you to go out to your backyard, dig a hole and throw that turkey in it. Most likely that turkey was frozen thawed cooked and then frozen again. It sounds like you guys have plans for simplifying the food program for this event.Since this is a smaller event, maybe this would be a good chance for some of our newer volunteers to step up and take a stab at the food service end of HOW. Raydon has breakfast under control.What about someone else stepping up and doing lunch? I would love to be able to just show up with my kayak and guide for once. That would really simplify things for me.
