Hey y'all…

Couple of dates to keep open if your thinking of coming on out to help out…

Were looking to hit either Hennessey or somewhere Sac like on the 3/14… yes a Saturday…    :white

Second, were invited to attend an event at Shadow Cliffs already arranged by another Fishing Org for Vets that likes the fly fishing thing…

Kool thing is, They get a substantial trout plant which is locked in by a temporary pen…  to wit they fly cast into said pen.. ya…

What is interesting, on the second day at the end of the event (5/1)…  they lower the pen, and said fish are set free live a life of joy and Happiness…      :fish2

Oh not so fast…   :smt018

Not only are the trout very feisty once the pen comes down and savagely attack small cast masters and such,  but

Lurking around for a couple days looking through the wire pen at lunch,

 have been bruiser LMB's   :tongue2:

I got out there on the yak with bmb 2.0,  just having a great time with the trout and I look below me..  14 lbs easy…  saw a couple more here and there, just HUGE, taking them down…

so anyway...

May 1st, a Friday, details to come…

Redding is also that day, but it all will work out, whatever is best for you...

Awesome dates! Looking forward to the events.

May 1st is especially fitting since it's the anniversary of bin Laden getting a 5.56 facelift... rest in shit.

We'll have to have a proper memorial going to commemorate that special circumstance …   :spank

Is the Shadow Cliffs event going to be fly fishing only?  I know nothing about buggy whips!

No, we fish from the kayaks like normal. Although if you want to learn about fly casting its a good day to do it!

I would like to help out, not totally sure what that would mean for me...but happy to do whatever i can to help out.

I think i can make the 5/1.

Where is the event going to take place? I can try and see if my work can donate some extra yaks for the day.
