If I come up just for the tourney, what time should I plan to be at the marina?  (Considering the sign-up, launch, etc)

Also, for the camping; doing a little research I checked YELP reviews.  Based on those reviews, I'd be afraid to camp!
http://www.yelp.com/biz/pleasure-cove-marina-napa

Can anyone refute the reviews and recommend this place as being safe and clean to camp and use the facilities?

Jerry, freshkats tournaments will all be launching at Sunrise. I would assume launch time for the Berry Brawl'N will be right at 6. No problem coming up just for day to fish and hangout. I haven't picked an exact launch site yet, but will either be at the actual launch or by campsites. I will post the Real Launch site as soon as i figure that one out. Expect to arrive an hour before launch time.
As far as there reviews, Honestly any resort around Berry ain't 5 stars, but there fine for what they are. Most of these reviews come from summer campers when theres SOOO much more people camping. Berry draws a lot of bay area and valley folks during the summer and it can get loud, roudy, and messy at times. No worries as we will be the only group around except for the occasional bass boater. Campsites are pretty normal but fine. Only draw back they are about a 1/4 mile from the launch ramp.
What time does the gate open? Will we need to make special arrangements to get in if we arrive Saturday morning?

I called.  Gate normally opens at 8am, sometimes as early as 7:45am.  However, the person I spoke to, April, said that the tournament director can make arrangements for an earlier opening time.
(probably be an additional expense for that?)

I would imagine 5am would allow enough time for folks just coming for the day.

But this brings up another question;

If one does plan to camp the night before, what time does the gate close if it's not normally open until 8am?  That would be a bummer to head up after work, arrive, say, after 10pm and the gate is closed until the next morning.

This was/has never been a problem in the pass. The gate I believe has a gate code too, and like last time, will pass out to everyone who is coming late or early morning. More info. on exact closing/opening times will come when were more near

I will refute those Yelp reviews. Pleasure Cove is a nice campground with clean facilities. And the late-March timing should mean less lake lice and general punks.

The "Senior Screws" will be  represented by Fish 'n Brew and Hobie Dave and Pam.  We will be in sites 10 and 11, near the launch ramp.  Margaritas and Martinis at the Cocktail Hour.  Campground was great last year. Definitely suitable for families.

Its early enough in the season that it should be a nice, clean, family-oriented place still. If it were in July, well ...
