Went out yesterday to Carmel to hit up my usual spot with a friend of mine. Got there around 7 am we were in the water by 8. I had read Jims post a couple of days earlier and decided to put into action what I had learned fortunately it paid off. I was checking almost every hole I could find and spotted a few fish inside but nothing worth shooting. Then I saw what looked like a promising hole the entrance was covered by some kelp, I dove down and saw a fat rubber lip, I shot and missed [emoji35]  dropped down again and saw a black and yellow but I panicked a little and didn't shoot cause of the kelp getting wrapped around my fin. Decided to give the hole one more try and there it was biggest fish I've seen underwater huge head staring right at me, I didn't even think twice and bam I stuck him right between the eyes he was out cold it turned out to be a 23 inch cabby!  Thanks to jim and to all the people that contributed with their tips helped out a newbie [emoji106] Here's some pics
