Hi everybody I am looking to buy my first kayak been looking at the trident 13 and the ride 135 both seem like good kayaks I just can't decide. I am 6ft about 245. Open to all suggestions! Thanks.

You're asking other people what they think about the kayaks you're looking at?  Don't rely on other's opinions of their kayaks, test drive a variety of kayaks before you decide.  And yes I am bias, for fishing, go with the hands free Hobie.

Ocean Kayaks are one of the lightest....a T13 would be kinda small for your frame. Most guys your size range get a 15ft yak.

Demo before buying is the best call.

I would be careful not to overload a Trident because the rodpod hatch is susceptible to water leaking in. This has happened to at least 5 kayaks that I know of. So, if you go with a Trident, upgrade to the modpod and make sure the hatch seal is clean (although I think all the new Tridents come equipped with the modpod now)...and consider getting the T15 over the 13.  BUT I just checked the OK site and it doesn't list the T15 anymore? Only the T11 and T13. So if you want a new OK that's 15ft, you have to get the Ultra 4.7, I think (I have this yak and love it btw).

Giving a little more info on what you plan to use it for will help everyone give you ideas of what to think about when test paddling.

If I was in the market, I'd jump on this deal, but I'm a diver. I have a newer one and like it for a number of reasons. Great for diving, bad for crabbing. No idea what it's like after 5 hours in the saddle.

You can probably get it for $500 since its been up for almost two weeks.

I plan on fishing out of it for the most part maybe a little duck hunting. It will be used in lakes and out on the Delta occasionally.
