Lodi Lake Kayak Festival Camping April 11th -12th

I had some NCKA guys asking about camping out at Lodi Lake during the weekend of our Spring Kayak Festival at Lodi Lake. I just got ahold of the city and they have a group site available, but there are some restrictions. Its 12 rig minimum and 24 rig maximum, no hook ups, and RV only. The spot is super nice right on a point that sticks out into the river. Big BBQ and potluck area. Cost would be $35 per rig.

Is anyone interested in camping out for the weekend? If we get some interest I will call and reserve the spot.

Glenn it's our biggest event of the year. We have live music, food trucks, over 100 demo kayaks on the beach, and we are going to host a fishing derby the morning of the event. When Headwaters does a demo day its not just boats on a beach with a bunch of reps trying to sell you stuff, its a true festival and celebration. We are pumped for this one.

I can't wait! I will have room at my place for some folks too if they want to. The It's Bang Time Crew will be there and ready/willing to lend a hand anyway we can!

I REALLY wish I could make this event. We will be at Albion, for a family reunion camping trip. Hopefully you get enough folks together, sounds like it is going to be a great time.

Will the the lake get filled?  Went by there a couple of weeks ago and it looked pretty grim. I want to go, seeing as I just bought a non-fishing kayak that I fish out of.

Awesome. Saturday is the big event, but most all the demos are available at our boat house every day including the Sunday after the Festival.
