Howdy!

Hi All,

I'm Sam and my sons (6 & 9yo) just did our first kayak fishing trip on our new Hobie Outfitter at the Port of Sacramento this past weekend. It was a blast and the other kayak anglers were so welcoming. Thought I'd join this forum to learn more about the sport and share stories/pictures.

Any pointers or insights greatly appreciated. We fish mostly for stripers (by boat) on the Delta but are really happy with our first Port experience.

Keep your head above the water (unless diving) and line below the water and you'll do just fine.
