Awesome job.  Is the class you took the one after the one I took with Jon Lata?  Let me know when you get instructor status or where you want to start training.  I have no desire to go that deep but would like to work with someone who could get me a little further in a safe manner..

Thanks DG.  I never took an actual class with Jon so I am not sure what skills he goes over in class and what skills have to be mastered before going onto an advanced class/course.

I took the one with Fii.  I did the level 1 class with Mark Lozano back in May of 2013.  Level 1 limits you to a max depth of 66ft as well as a static of 3:00.  Fii focuses on the safety of diving in level 1 as well as basic diving skills.  Level 2 does not have a max static and has a max depth of 132ft for the class.  There is a lot more physiology involved in level 2 than level 1 and still a focus on safety diving etc.  We learned a lot about how to properly safety your diving buddies at depth and worked on a lot of safety drills involving blackouts, LMC, etc. There is a level 3 class only taught by the owner of Fii, Martin Stepanek, who has held like 13 different world records at some point.  The level 3 class does not have max depth or max static and is extremely advanced class.

Either way when I get back at it I can show you some little things I learned  :smt001

Shoot me a pm with what you have in mind.  I have been buying used gear here and there to offer some people a cheaper alternative to expensive gear they otherwise may not ever be able to afford.  The website will have a used gear section and first come first serve.
