My buddy Keith just gifted me a ling he speared 2 lings  in bout 18' FOW. @ Ft Bragg harbor on 1/4/15 16#/13 also an ab that is being converted to ab soup!!!

He scored 23 10+ inch abs last yr...also got his PB 11.37 last yr... where??? Don't ask!!! :)

Ab season is closed and the yearly take was only 18.  Is your friend a poacher?

It was fishy.  Good one. 

As for the numbers good for him that's a lot of work.  And glad you got some good food out of it and are not friends with a poacher.

Yep good friend...he has stepped up a level in diving!!! Before I'd get worried diving with...his down time is epic kinda like u....  ab chowder done with coconut milk!!! And goin to deep fry some of it for my parents!!! Good friends good eats...
