 :smt006 hi every one I'm new here I just got a Sun dolphin 10 foot kayak I know it's not a fishing kayak but I figured I'd buy a cheap one to see if I would even like fishing from a kayak then I can go and buy a Jackson fishing kayak if i enjoy this new sport I live in Placerville does anybody know where I can go fish this weekend for some nice decent fish don't really matter on what fish species I fish for at this point

Hi and welcome!
You might try Cameron Park Lake.  It's chock full of bass and pretty easy to fish.  Then there is Rancho Seco Lake maybe an hour or less away.

WTTM there are all kinds of lakes in your area that you can yak fish. A lot of us fish Folsom and Natoma through out the year
