Hi Mooch,

If my weekend San Pablo plans don't pan out, I'm there.

Sounds like a plan - how's the water level at the Russian? Maybe I can talk Sean into renting me a Mini-X for the river drift  :smt002

Hey Mooch - I was thinking of hitting Mendo again on Sunday - Saturday soungs like rain, at least in the A.M. I'm not sure whether A.M. or evening would be best on Sun. Maybe just fish all day!  Tom

I am supposed to go to the Forebay with Ricky Mitchell thsi weekend, but the weekend looks stormy even Sunday since another storm is coming Monday. The wind has a good chance of howling there all weekend. Maybe Mendo is a better idea for Sunday. I don't think the ocean is going to be any good at all. I jsut might be up for Sunday at Mendo.

I am out as I have to head to SD on Sat.  If you fish the river, make sure you have SMB appropriate tackle, my kids from the S.O. will be in the bushes...NOT kidding.

Mendo still isn't in a steady PM/AM deal.  Generally, if its nice fish late, if its crappy weather fish am to 1300.  Enjoy! I may fish Mendo manana though.

Sean,

What is the likely effect of rain on the fishing Sat and Sun?  Do you have the latest intel on where the boils have been in the last few days?

The fowl weather should improve the bite.  The fish could be anywhere.

It's looking like an early Sunday morning deal since the weather will probably still be cloudy & grey from Saturday rains and they're talking about more rain coming in on Sun. evening. Wondering when the bait shop opens on Sunday? Stay tuned. Tom
