From Cabela's mail catalog I got today;

Normally $299  but I got a catalog-only sale in the mail today.  It has this FF for $219

You need to use item # 1BP-02-3344 and order it by calling their catalog phone # at 1-800-237-4444

Price is valid from Jan 8-15 and not on line or at the store; catalog only.

The back of my catalog has the following that might be needed when calling in an order;

Code 1BP03A

Direct catalog info.  I tried the item # on the on-line website and got a message;
 Item number 1BP-02-3344 was not found in the specified catalog. However, it was found in a different catalog.
So, it's just available at this price by calling the phone #.

I think that customer# will bring up your info (name, address, etc) if they order using it.  So you're saying you want me to order one so it will get shipped to you!  Lol

The catalog has my name or current resident for the addressee. 

I'm pretty sure you won't need the customer #, but maybe the cat code and the item code for sure, but if you do, DON'T tell them to just put it on the Cabela's VISA card I have on file!!

I'm waiting for Elite-5 HDI to go on clearance. I only see the X version on sale.

Should have been at the ISE show then.  I think a couple of the shops were selling thru those Elite 5 HDI units at a good price.  Maybe again at the SFBoat show in 2 weeks.

Saw the Elite 5 HDI w/transducer for $291 and free shipping online about a week ago. Now I cant seem to find it - I'll post if I can track down the link.

Im still debating whether the chirp is worth a 100 dollars more.
