I wonder how much of that is CGI?

I was there in New Year 2010.  We were blowing up fire works the size of hand grenades.  I am not kidding.

I remember not being able to walk on the streets cause people were throwing firecrackers left and right, it was like a land mine. And Now this.

That looks awesome!   I don't think it's CGI (my job).... looks like quite a few do get injured from it tho:
