Still looking for ideas on rigging buoys (ideally without braiding!) with stiff leaded line. Knots?

using a knot will work; just wont look clean and pretty....

but do you really need "leaded" line for only fishing 30'-50'? Polypro line with some lead roll weight should be sufficient; then you wont need such a large bouy.....
