I was hoping to get in one last trip to the Sonoma Coast before Jan 1.  Checked the weather forecast and the wind is at gale force - until Jan 1!  Then 5 straight days of 4mph winds and 3 ft swells.  Go figure!

Same here, We planned on going shrooming this morning but there is no way we are hiking in the forest with all the widow makers in the trees above.

Where I live, we've got big redwoods and douglas fir trees all around. The wind gusts are making me very nervous. Time to head to town...

Check with home owners insurance. They may pay for some of the fence. My neighbors did that and saved a bundle of money.

Driving to and from work on Hwy 17 I swear I was going to get nailed by a widow maker redwood or power pole. So frickin windy today
