Glen in Sonoma County here.  Spend most of my fishing time in Mendo and still learning the hot spots in 'Noma.  Crabbing at Bodega, rockin' off Fort Ross and I'm heading to Anchor Bay this weekend to haul some lings for the end of the year.  Only had my yak for a bit over a year now, one decent jigging rig for now.
Freedive spearfish, abalone, scallops...all when I get very lucky and the Neptune allows me and my sad hunting skills to harvest some tasty denizens of the deep.
Been lurking on NCKA for years now, finally signing up.  Probably see you all at the Crabfest.
Best,
-Glen

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.  Was out at Anchor Bay today, landed a couple rocks outside fish rock, lost one right at the side of the yak and pulled a dumbass maneuver and let a nice fatty leap from the deck before I could get him bonked and strung up...and swam away to wait for someone with better skills to nail him.
Beautiful day out!...no pics though...I told you I was lame.

You need a GoPro---those kind of things make the best videos...

I even have a GoPro but forgot to bring it!  Once again, lame. :smt002 Would have been great filming me flipping off the fish as he faded into the murk on his way back home.

Yea dude, you guys ended up with a nice stringer!  I hope your filletting job left your hands with minimal fin barb pokes, gil-plate slices and knife cuts!
...Really looked like the chop died down during the drive home.  :smt012
