After 3 years of shooting the stuffing and frame is holding up fantastic. However, the burlap facing is worn out and showing it's age. So I ordered up a set of lifetime target faces from third hand archery and after 30 min of work she looks brand spanking new.

Looks great Eric.
Not sure how much longer my target will hold out.
I got the Iron Man target. Stops arrows dead and they literally pull out with 2 fingers but it's taken a beating.
What kind of target do you have? DIY?

Yeah diy it's a simple 3'x3'x16" wood frame covered the open ends with plastic chicken wire fence then the target face stuffing is the pallet shrink wrap. Works great

I think I need to do that...We have three bows in the house (2 kids and myself) and we keep buying haybails and burlap sacks full of shrink wrap, but that stuff goes south in a year. Great idea!!!

Same exact thing I did for my entire target backstop. Only I used weed block as the cover.
I'll have to get a new cover for my ironman target someday. It's gettin' thrashed.

Nice.  How noisy is it compared to burlap?
I still haven't found any bag or face material more quiet than burlap.

hard to say.
it's the backstop behind the target so it doesn't see much use.
I bought the Ironman Target. Best investment ever.
You can shoot it from 10 yds away and it stops the arrow dead in it's tracks and it only takes 2 fingers to pull the arrow out. It's pretty amazing.

I have it covered with paper so I can see my shots easier.

Its louder for sure. Sounds like a kid hitting a plastic bat on the cement...at least I hope so so my neighbors do peek over the fence. I am thinking it may quite down with use as the fibers separate a bit right now its tight as a drum.
