All,

I am accumulating raffle items for a future (early 2007) raffle at a MFF event for Chef.

No hurry, but think about stuff of value that you might be able to toss in to the pot.

I've been sort of tied up, but I will kick start the MFF series again soon.  We are having a MFF event at the Forebay on the 18-9th of this month (no raffle).

I've already got 3 conventional reels donated into the pot and I will again be donating custom beer.

Thanks.

MFF is the "Money For Friends" tournament series.

It was previously the MBF "Money Between Friends".

It is a fund raising tournament series to benifit Chef Stephano in his battle with cancer.

All entry money gathered in the MFF series goes to the Chef fund, and it has become a bragging rights series as apposed to a money making series for the winner.

Each tournament has a 10 dollar entry fee (all of which goes to chef) and a variety of rules for each tournament.  We are holding a MFF tournament the weekend of 18-19th of this month at the O'niell Forebay.

Thanks MolBasser, Great cause.

Now that I've finally got my yak I think I'm gonna try to earn some of those bragging rights.

Mol why don't you do a virtual raffle post pictures of the prizes and you would have over 800 members checking them out.

Hah!  I love it when a plan comes together.  Mol, those reel I floated your way (courtesy of Raymac, thanks!) ... I had planned to do a virtual raffle or auction of them.  But right now is my busiest time of the year.  The next best thing was to find some sucker, err uh, some kind-hearted soul with lots of energy and drive, to do something decent with them.   :smt003

Heh.

I found a Tani-guide to the 50h and I assume the 30h is similar.  I am gonna put carbontex drags in them before I auction them off.  I have a person that is donating to the chef fund for the jigmaster.

The virtual auction will be sometime in January as the holiday mess is about to envelope people.

I'll figure out something to contribute as well... probably not another rod, but maybe some nice pimped out floating gaffs or something.
