What you can't use a Torqeedo motor ???? Crap !! LOL !!!! Thank you all that put the time into this, it makes
me look at what I have caught and target new fish I normally wouldn't. As for the changes, they seem fine, I do
like the big fish plaques, and would love one for my bar. I pint glass would also look good in there as well.
Rob, Matanaska, I respect you very much as a fisherman, I think you know that. I looked at the top ten so far, 7 live at least 3-1/2 or more from the ocean, one lives in Humboldt, and two not sure how far they are. Seems everyone needs to travel some. I for one hope everyone stays in, I like to see how I do against what I deem to be some of the top anglers in the North State.

It takes me five hours just to reach Eureka.  That's not even counting the additional mileage to reach a suitable launch site on the coast, whether it be Trinidad or Shelter Cove or the Cape.  It's pretty much a prerequisite in AOTY: if you want to score high, you gotta do some driving.  It's all part of the adventure  :smt004.

Considering participation this year and wanted to clarify if fish caught via SUP will be eligible for AOTY?
Thanks, and my apologies if this has been covered on another thread.

I'm not sure about SUPs.. they give a huge advantage over kayaks in that they..

um..

um..

hmm..

LET THEM IN!  I've been trying to work on rigging mine for fishing, but its more of a hybrid race boat.

Thinking of this for 2015. Any problems with it?

Do it!  We don't have any western border for AOTY, so you could fish the sea of Japan.  :smt003

No rod holders.  :smt044

My .02...and it doesn't matter:

Wall art over pint glass.
Sails...meh...but gets a 'no' vote from me ( not human powered)
SUPs...yes vote.
Catch a fish, enter the fish, shut up about the fish. Let the committee do its thang.
