Read the attached information and forms, and ask questions here if you have them.

I am a little unclear on Rule 2; Never fish or paddle without your team.

What team?  Is this something I'm assigned to?  Is this for the whole weekend, or just the tournament hours of Dawn to 1:30pm on Saturday?

Must fish with at least one other person for safety reasons - it only applies to the tournament.  Scoring is individual.

So how are teams formed?  By a drawing?  I need to be invited to join a team?  Must be someone who has attended in the past be on the team or can they all be newbies?  Does the team need a name and to register with the tournament?

If this is something I need to form or find on my own, let it be known; I'm looking for a team to join or anyone who is in need of a team in order to fish.

You form teams separate from the tournament, and I don't record who's on what team.  Each of the past several years someone has kept track of the teams and done a team scoring event within the event.  I welcome that contribution - I think it's likely that someone will step up to do it this year.  There's plenty of time yet, and I'm sure you'll have no problem getting on a team.

Again, I require fishing in teams of at least two, but I don't police it.  If you die I will be asking your teammate, "WTF?!"

OK, so the pro division is competing for a cash prize where only Lingcod, Salmon and Halibut will score. But what about the regular division? How is the scoring done? Can you clarify in the 1st post?

Thanks for all the hard work Eric. Looking forward to getting back up to the cove. Excited! I'll get my registration in on time this year.

I've got a couple of questions for the group...

1)  Can someone sponsor me?  :smt003

and

2)  If I get a sponsor, anyone looking for a teammate?   :beer2

Jerry, The team concept that I'm pretty sure was started by Eric at GS a few years back has yielded some great groups and friendships.  The Loose Screws were originally formed as a GS safety team and evolved into an incredible group of friends who get together often.   I even host an annual Loose Screws "Board Meeting" at my home every year. There are usually 3 or 4 events a year that don't have anything to do with fishing.  Our team has become a lot more than just a safety team for fishing events.   I believe the A-Hulls also began as a GS safety team.

Somebody didn't read the rules!   :smt044

Regular division = swag bag + raffle ticket.   No scoring, no prizes.
